well, i hope to have some stuff up soon. im very excited to salt fire for the first time, and i hope my peices come out ok.

so everybody, im on a new road now. collage. iv never been more confused in my life, well lets not go that far. but now i will be fullfilling my goal of getting my bfa (bachelors in fine arts). or in other words my ceramics major. that way i can teach it, have a store, or pretty much anything else i wnat with ceramics. im pretty excited really, ill be living down south near zions, ill be in utah, and i will have freedom, to an extent. plus my beard. gotta have the beard.

well its finaly true, i have wood working on here. i hope to be done with my new wood project with in the month but it is going to take some extra time and patience. i also have a bunch more ceramics pieces but i honestly don't feel like putting them on here. they are not that great and i am to lazy.

this isn't my best piece but its my favorite. i love my texture i putonto it with my fingers, i also love how the glazes turned out. i used my signiture glaze and found that the yellow and green run into a vivid blue as you can see. this piece has more class and personality than any outher piece i have created yet.

this is probably my best piece yet. 14 pounds of clay its kinda heavy. but i have found my glaze color scheme. turkish amber with desert yellow splah, forest green inside and lip. i really like how the brown and green mix into a black color at first but as you can see it is really a dark blue in the light.

this is the second thig i made. maple with walnut bands. this is probably my favorite but it was the most costly, it gave me two good cuts, ripped off part of my fingernail and almost put the chisle in my throat. i am currently working on a new platter which has 25 pieces to it that all have to be fitted exactly. i'm looking forward to it.

ok this is the very first thing i ever lathed. it was fasinating and i have fallen inlove with lathe working. it is made out of walnut. the base has three layers and the post has 8.

well, well, well, i haven't fired anything of mine for a very long time. its a little difficult when i am supposed to get as much in the kiln as i can and my stuff will take up the whole kiln. but i did a large item firing last and threw in a couple of my pieces, with experimental glazes. but i am hoping come monday that i will have some cool looking pieces. i still have to put my lamp and soon to be bowl on here. that bowl has done more damage to me than i thought it could. but it was fun and a challenge. i got a new hobie.

this is my new wall mount. it was kinda hard to make but fun. i know its a little creepy but its way cool any ways.
